Audrey June May

Secretary

Audrey June May is a Hampton (Institute) University attendee and graduate of New York University in Business Education, with a Master’s Degree in Education from Antioch University, plus Guidance and Administration credits from New York University and C.C.N.Y. respectively. She was initiated in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in 1956. Therefore, she is a Pearl Soror. She has held many positions in her over 40-year membership with Zeta Nu Omega Chapter, from Epistoleus to Grammateus, to Philacter, Member-at-Large including Regional and many committees heading some of them. She is currently the ZNO/CSF Secretary.

Audrey June is also busy outside of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. A husband and 11 grandchildren keep her involved with their activities. She is a dedicated member of St. Catherine A. M. E. Zion Church, Sanctuary Choir President, Class Leader, Mass Choir, and Missionary member. She is also active with Ebony Ecumenical Ensemble (Section Leader), UNA/USA Westchester (Education Committee), NANM, BMHS and Hampton and NYU Alumni Associations. Her presence emphasizes the importance of ZNO-CSF’s commitment to AKA and community service.
