Our Programs

As part of our local signature programs, ZNO CSF has awarded over $750,000 in scholarships to Westchester County college-bound students. Most recently, we expanded the program to provide multi-year scholarships.

Adolescents Karing About People (AKAP) s a volunteer service program for Westchester County High School students. This program has been in place for over 30 years. ZNO chapter members serve as mentors to student volunteers by providing supervision and training.

Youth Leader Institute (YLI) is a youth-led and highly interactive leadership development program designed to empower and engage youth between the ages of eleven and thirteen. The institute is hosted at Lincoln School in Mount Vernon, NY.

Our aim is to bring attention to the need for a smooth transition out of the foster care system. Our young people deserve opportunities to succeed as productive members of our society, and they deserve our support.

A multi-generational approach to fortify families within our communities by addressing child hunger and promoting positive youth development and leadership, mental well-being, and senior living.

Build personal, organizational, and community economic wealth within our community by supporting women entrepreneurs and promoting Black Dollar Days.

We will celebrate excellence, promote a focus on service, stimulate effective culture, and showcase best practices which are Local Change, Big Impact, and Global Showcase.

We employ strategies to optimize our collective ability and to improve and protect the environment at scale. To enhance our environment we promote the adoption of more sustainable and responsible practices.

We empower communities and provide the tools, knowledge, and support so that they can effectively advocate for change for themselves and their communities.
