Juanita Bethea is a retired social worker and an active member of the ZNO Community Service Fund. She was initiated into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Omicron Eta Chapter on May 22, 1988.

For over thirty-five years, she has served the Zeta Nu Omega Chapter in various capacities, including Sisterly Relations and Parliamentarian. She is a proud Silver Star.
